2. Pizzarova

It is safe to say that Pizzarova is one of Bristol’s best pizza places. With its freshly homemade sourdough base and addictive pizza dips, it is a must to try if you are studying here in the city. 3. St. Nick’s Market

The well-loved St Nick’s Market, located in the heart of Bristol’s old town city, has become a hotspot for food lovers due to its huge range of culinary delights. 5. The Canteen

An absolute go-to for students living in the Stokes Croft area, especially those who are veggie or vegan, or simply wanting to eat meat-free. The Canteen has become a key staple in the foodie map of Bristol, renowned for its delicious dishes made with local ingredients.

The views by the harbourside are gorgeous enough as it is, but they are even better when you are tucking into an affordable lunchtime burger deal from Three Brothers Burgers. If you order at lunchtime you can get a burger and fries for ONLY £5.

Don’t worry if you are not a meat-eater, their deal includes the vegan burger too, so any student looking for a bargain lunch can get involved.

7. Taka Taka

Rumour has it that you have not lived the true Bristol student lifestyle if you haven’t tried the popular Taka Taka for greek gyros. These wraps are a great option for any student wanting a quick bite to eat for lunch, a break from studying in the library or most-famously enjoyed at the end of a student night out.

If you are a halloumi lover, make sure you try their halloumi fries alongside your gyros – they are super chunky and served with the best garlic mayo!

8. No. 1 Harbourside

Eating by the harbour is one of our favourite things about Bristol, especially paired with No.1 Harbourside’s new menu of delicious burgers and seafood favourites. The gorgeous location by the harbour makes this place a great choice for students to take their family when they visit.

This place is also a great way to introduce yourself to some local music as they have Bristol artists playing every Friday so make sure you check their website!

9. Eatchu

We have already mentioned St Nick’s Market as a whole but Eatchu deserves its own honourable mention. This place makes delicious handmade gyozas that are either meaty or vegan and are topped with various sauces and garnishes.

The location of this place makes it a great stop when doing some student shopping during the day or if you want a quick lunch by the harbour!

10. Taste of Napoli

Based in Broadmead, Taste of Napoli is a popular spot with exceptionally cheap but delicious options that you can either eat inside or takeaway. However, if you decide to eat inside, the decor and the family-feel service truly does make it feel as though you are transported to Italy.

Make sure to try their mouth-watering hot chocolate too, one of the best in the city – we recommend ordering it with coconut milk to make it extra thick and creamy!
